We have visited Yosemite national park last weekend (12/27 ~ 28).
Many Japanese expats vist national parks in U.S. The reason befind this is that it is less expensive because the company will cover the cost of gas, oil and other stuff car maintainance expenses.
Therefore, it becomes smart to use their cars as much as possible and save money, rather than paying for flight tickets on their own.
Me and my wife were more into travelling abroad like Mexico, but this time we decided to give it a try to visit national park by car as we spent a lot of money this month.
Also, I was interested in experiencing how amazing nature in America is.
We left Los Angeles at AM 7:30 and arrived Yosemite at PM 3:30 so it was a 8 hours drive.
This was the first time to drive a long distance since I came here. The day before the departing day, I noticed the engine oil needed to be replaced with new one from car dashboard warning.
