Something surprising happened, so I'm writing it down for the record. I purchased my car from used car dealer located in Torrance.
I got delivery yesterday, so after completing my car insurance contract I gave it a test drive.
I received delivery yesterday. After competing my car insurance contract, I took the car for a test drive.

Everything was fine until I noticed that the car would slow down even when I pressed the accelerator.
Eventually, the car came to a stop in the middle of the street.
I was a little panicked and tried to call the dealership. But the call was suddenly disconnected because my Tello plan had reaced its limit.
I recharged my plan and called again, then they said it seemed like the car had run out of gas.
I could not believe since gas meter still shows the tank was not empty.

Fortunetaly, a person who happened to be walking by approached me and she helped me to move the car to a safe location.
Anyway, I need to call the road service to tow my car to my house. The dealer said I should also ask them to bring the gas in case it run out of the gas.
Then I called the road service, which I had just contracted, but they said that the road service was not still effective and it takes several days until actually it's gonna be effective.
I decided to secure a nearby roadside assistence service, even if it meant paying for it.

However, I could hardly understand what the person was saying due to my limited English, and on top of that, the stressful situation made it even more difficult to follow the conversation.
They said that my insurance does not cover the road assistance since it will take a few days until it's gonna be effective.
When the insurance company tried to connect me to the nearby roadside assistance representative, the call was disconnected for some reasons.
So I opened Chat GPT and ask it what should I do for next step. It answered that I need to consider how to get gas, for example by walking to a gas station and bringing fuel back to the car.
Fortunately, there was a gas station just one street ahead.
Then, I walked over and explain the situation to the store owner.
He seemed like he did not understand fully. I noticed there was a fuel tank selling, so I asked him I want to buy.
Then, a woman came out of a car and asked me what had happebed.
After I explained, she kindly offered to give me a ride back to my car.

After taking me to the place, she helped me to pour the gas into my car.
I saw her hands got dirty from the fuel, and I was really impressed by how kind she was kind to help me like that. She seemed like to be familiar with car mechanics. I asked why she knew so much about car, she replied, " I live in the car."
At first, I thought she meant that she worked in car industry but I realized she literally lives in her car.
After some hussle, when we turn the key, my car finally started.
I was really relieved to see that.

Then, she started telling me she wants to buy something from the supermarket and asked if I could give her some money. As I had no cash on me, I told her that, and she said there was a ATM nearby.
We went to the ATM and I insert credit card, then I found I forget my PIN to withdraw cash.
I honestly told her, and she lookedsorry about that.
Therefore, I suggested going to the supermarket and buy her something, then she halfway accepted.

She said that I should follow her after filling up the gas in my car.
I followed her and finally we reached a small tobaco shop.
Then, she asked me to buy two cartons of tobacco.

I was surprised because I thought she would buy some foods. So I said "Why don't you buy foods?"
Then she replied, " I don't need food. Instead, please buy somne soda." Then, I bought a Mountain Dew as well.
She looked happy and thanked me. We took a photo together to remember the moment.
Then, we split up there.

Though this experience, I felt that people can be very tender and gentle toward others.
At the same time, they expect something in return.
This time, I felt so gratefull to her that I did not hesitate to give her a reward. It felt a littel funny, heartwarming and I had mixed feelings about the whole experience.
I learned there is a type of homeless who lives in their cars.
Some of them are gentle to help others.

I wish she lives a good life and I wish her a Merry Christamas.
